Due to rain, today's Transforming Future Geographies Finale location has changed to:

Brooklyn Defender Services 177 Livingston Street, 7th Floor 5:00–7:00 PM The young New Yorkers invite you to engage with them on the issue of immigration, to play artful games, to share their own artworks, and to have a pizza party. T-shirts designed by these extraordinary young people will be provided! We hope to see you at this evening of self-expression and creative connection.

Transforming Future Geographies is a series of specially designed art workshops that explores messages and actions around immigration in the United States. Art is used to begin this conversation and empower participants to share their experiences and develop thoughts and ideas of the group as a whole around the issue. Workshops focus on personal reflection, being one's own advocate, and giving voice to social issues that are important to the participants.

Collaborating Artists include Lunar New Year (LNY), Mata Ruda, Nanook, Alex Seel, and Javier Zamora.

Partnering organizations include Brooklyn Defender Services and Catholic Charities Community Services.
